About this spot

A rugged rocky island off Pundaquit crowned by the Spanish-era Faro de Punta Capones lighthouse, built in the late 1800s. Boats drop you on a white-pebble beach, and a short, steep trail leads up to the brick lighthouse ruins and keeper's quarters with sweeping views of the West Philippine Sea. It is a staple stop on Anawangin–Nagsasa island-hopping trips.
