About this spot

A crescent cove of grayish-white volcanic sand backed by a grove of agoho (often called pine) trees and dramatic grassy mountains, a surprising landscape shaped by Mt. Pinatubo's ash. It is reached by a short boat ride from Pundaquit, and most visitors camp overnight under the trees with a bonfire and starry sky. Facilities are basic, so pack light and bring everything you need. Leave no trace.
