Ampere Beach and Rock Formations
About
This is a beach for looking, not swimming, and wow, what a look! Ampere Beach, about 20 km from Baler, is covered in smooth pebbles and big boulders polished by Pacific waves, with a dramatic sea stack standing just offshore and green cliffs behind. Pull over on the coastal road, listen to the stones rattle as the waves pull back, and shoot the rock formations at sunrise. Swimming is not safe here because of strong currents and the rocky ground, so enjoy it from the shore!
