FAQ
Why is Dingalan called the Batanes of the East?
Its grassy cliffs and rolling ridges above the Pacific look a lot like Batanes, but it is only a long drive from Manila.
Do I need insurance to visit Dingalan?
Yes. A 2024 town ordinance requires tourists to show insurance from a Dingalan-based or LGU-registered provider. You can buy it from any accredited provider before the trip.
Is there a hike?
Only a short walk. A road runs up to the view deck, and paths lead along the ridge toward the lighthouse.
