About this spot
The surf capital of North Luzon and the heart of the 'Elyu' vibe. Urbiztondo's sandy-bottom breaks are forgiving for beginners, and dozens of surf schools line the beach offering boards and instructors by the hour. When the waves are flat, people still come for the sunsets, beach bars, cafés and laid-back barkada energy. It is the easiest surf trip from Manila, just a few hours north.
