Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
About
A Spanish-era lighthouse first lit in 1892, still standing on a hill above the West Philippine Sea and declared a National Cultural Treasure. Climb the brick stairway to the octagonal tower for views of the coast and, on clear days, the windmills to the north. The old red-brick keeper's buildings make for moody photos. A must-stop on the Ilocos Norte coastal loop.
