About this spot
A striking Taoist temple on a hill overlooking San Fernando and the sea, dedicated to the sea goddess Ma-Cho (Mazu). Its tiered pagoda-style roofs, ornate dragons and red-and-gold details make it one of the most photographed sights in La Union. Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds and steps; it is an active place of worship, so keep it respectful.
