Poblacion is Makati's go-to bar district, where old houses and narrow streets now hold speakeasies, rooftop bars, craft cocktail spots and cheap-beer hangouts all within walking distance. Perfect for bar hopping kasama ang barkada: start with dinner, then hop from a chill bar to a busier one as the night goes on. Kalayaan Avenue, Polaris, Durban and Enriquez streets are the usual loop. Weekends get packed and loud, so book ahead if you are a big group.
