Hundred Islands National Park
About
The Philippines' first national park is a bay full of 123 limestone islands and islets, and it is one of the easiest island-hopping trips from Manila. Boats leave from Lucap Wharf in Alaminos. The developed islands are Quezon, Governor's, Children's and Pilgrimage Island, topped by a giant Christ the Savior statue. Climb the Governor's Island viewdeck for the classic photo, snorkel and kayak around the coves, and peek into Imelda Cave on Marcos Island. Bring your own food and water, use reef-safe sunblock, and take all trash back with you. Rent a full-day boat as a group of five to split the cost, and go on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Overnight camping is allowed on the developed islands.
