Kayapa Trilogy and Quad Peak Hike
About
Grassy ridges, giant boulders and clouds racing over the Cordillera: Kayapa is a hiker's playground! The Kayapa Trilogy links Mt. Tugew, Mt. Cabo and Mt. Kabuan, three summits between about 1,320 and 1,460 MASL, on a roughly 12 km loop rated a minor 3/9. Want more? The Quad Peak route out of Alang-Salacsac adds a fourth summit. Expect open trails along rolling ridgelines, a big rock to scramble up for the money shot, and wide mountain views. A local guide is required, so book one at the jump-off or through a tour group, and pack sun protection: there's little shade up there!
