Grassy hills, a white sandbar and the mountains of mainland Antique as your backdrop, all on one small island! Mararison, also spelled Malalison, sits a short bangka ride off Culasi in northern Antique. Hike the ridges for a sweeping view of the coast, then cool off on the sandbar. Register at the Culasi Tourism Office before you cross, and stay overnight so you catch the sunset and the stars too.

Wear the life vest on the bangka and skip the crossing in rough weather.
