Guimaras is a short boat ride from Iloilo and is known for the sweetest mangoes in the world. Base yourself at Alubihod Beach, then hire a bangka to hop to Ave Maria Islet, Baras Cave, Natago Beach and nearby coves. Boats are priced per hour and only a couple of hours are needed. Finish with mango shakes, mango pizza and dried mango from local stalls. An easy, budget-friendly island escape.
