Calauit Safari Park

GalaTayo Pick

About

The Philippines' own mini-safari on Calauit Island in northern Busuanga. Giraffes, zebras and antelopes roam freely alongside endemic animals like the Calamian deer and Palawan bearcat, and on many tours you get to hand-feed the giraffes with rangers in the morning. It's a long day from Coron town, so most join a tour that adds a beach stop such as North Cay or Rio Aplaya afterwards. A unique break from lagoons and lakes, especially with kids.
