About this spot
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. From Sabang wharf, a short boat ride takes you to the cave mouth, then a paddle boat glides you into an underground river lined with huge stalactites, bats and cathedral-like chambers, with an audio guide narrating. Permits have daily limits, so book through an accredited tour or the city's permit office ahead of time. A full day from the city, but iconic.
