Ermita Hill
About
Baler's best free view is up a flight of stairs! Climb the steps of Ermita Hill and the whole bay opens up: Sabang Beach and its surfers on one side, the Pacific and the Cemento coast on the other. Legend says the town's survivors fled up here when a tsunami struck centuries ago, and a sculpture at the foot of the hill tells the story. Go at sunrise for the magic hour!
