Alegria Falls (Kanlaob and Cancalanog)

About

Cebu's ice-cold, turquoise alternative to the Kawasan crowds! Alegria has two falls that make a perfect day together. Kanlaob Falls sits right off a paved road, so you can jump into its blue-green pool with no trek at all. Cancalanog Falls is a short, steep walk down into a mossy gorge, with deep pools for cliff jumping and a little bamboo bridge over the water. Each one costs just ₱50. Come at noon when the sun warms the water, and bring a towel because it is freezing at first!

What to do here

  • Swim in the turquoise pool at Kanlaob
  • Walk down to Cancalanog and cross the bamboo bridge
  • Cliff jump into the deep pools
