About this spot
A mountaintop campsite and viewpoint in Tanay famous for its sunrise sea of clouds rolling over the Sierra Madre. No real hiking is needed: you ride up, then wander grassy ridges, swings and view decks while the valley fills with mist. Many pitch a tent overnight to catch the clouds at dawn. Clouds are not guaranteed, so go in the cooler months and watch the weather.
