About this spot

A wide, curtain-like waterfall spilling into a cool, turquoise basin, just a short walk from the road. It is Tanay's most popular family swimming spot, with picnic cottages, simple food stalls and a smaller sister falls (Batlag) nearby. Easy access makes it a good beginner nature trip, but weekends and summer holidays get packed, so go early or on a weekday.
