Alibijaban Island
About
Alibijaban is the slow, off-grid island escape at the tip of the Bondoc Peninsula! A short boat ride from San Andres Port drops you on a white sand shore with clear, shallow water and a wide mangrove forest behind it. Lounge on a floating cottage, swim and snorkel in the calm channel, walk out to the sandbar, and ride a boat through the mangroves. Sleep in a nipa hut or a tent, then catch the soft sunrise before the island warms up. It is a long trip from Manila, so make it an overnight stay. Buy food, water and supplies in San Andres before you cross, since the island has only basic stores and limited power.
