About this spot

One of the most popular day hikes near Manila, Mt. Batulao rewards beginners with rolling grassy ridges and a 360-degree view of Batangas and the Tagaytay ridge. The trail has 'old' and 'new' routes with a few rope sections near the summit, and sari-sari stops along the way selling buko and halo-halo. Start very early because the open trail gets hot by mid-morning.
