Canigao Island
About
A ring of white sand, a long wooden boardwalk over clear water and a protected reef: Canigao Island is Leyte's little paradise! It's a 15 to 20-minute public boat ride from the port beside Matalom Plaza, and part of the water around it is a fish sanctuary. Rent a cottage for the day, snorkel the clear shallows, or pitch a tent and stay for both sunset and sunrise.
