Pasig River Esplanade
About
Manila's riverside glow-up and the city's hottest free hangout! The Pasig River Esplanade is a car-free walkway of about 1.7–1.9 km from the Fort Santiago Riverwalk past Plaza Mexico, the fountains behind the Central Post Office and Jones Bridge, all the way to Arroceros Forest Park. Come around 4–5 PM for sunset over the river, then stay as the lamp posts and fountains light up and the food kiosks open (3 PM to midnight). Walk, snack and catch the buskers, then cross Jones Bridge to Binondo. The Intramuros Administration counted about 5.9 million visitors in the first half of 2026 alone.
