About this spot
A cool, charming town at the foot of Mt. Banahaw, famous for the Pahiyas Festival every May 15, when houses are covered in colorful kiping (rice wafers), fruits and vegetables in honor of San Isidro Labrador. Even outside the festival, Lucban is a food trip: slurp pancit habhab straight off a banana leaf, buy garlicky Lucban longganisa, and admire the baroque San Luis Obispo Church and old houses like La Casa de Doña Ana. Buddy's flagship restaurant is the classic first stop.
