Linapacan Islands (Araw Beach)

No car needed

About

The quiet islands between El Nido and Coron! Linapacan is a whole town of small islands with fine white sand, and its water is so clear it has landed on lists of the clearest seas in the world. Creators rank Araw Beach among the best beaches in all of Palawan, yet you will share it with only a few other boats. There are no big resorts and no ATMs here, so it is pure island life: camp on a beach, snorkel over the reefs and hop between empty islands. It takes effort to get here, which is exactly why it still feels so empty!

Know before you go

Boat rides are long and in open sea; ride only with operators who carry life vests, and skip trips during gale warnings or storm signals.

Facilities are basic and there are no ATMs; bring cash, water, medicine and a power bank.

Plan extra days in case rough seas cancel boats, especially outside the December to May dry season.

Boat transfers and island hopping are paid per boat and vary by group size and route; arrange them ahead with a local operator. Bring enough cash: there are no ATMs in Linapacan.
