Balabac Island Hopping (Onuk Island and Sandbars)
About
This is Palawan at its wildest! Balabac sits at the far southern tip of Palawan, where powder-white sandbars and see-through turquoise water look almost unreal. Highlights include Onuk Island, Punta Sebaring, Candaraman Island and the Mansalangan and Starfish sandbars. Getting there is part of the adventure: tours leave Puerto Princesa around 3 AM for the long drive to Buliluyan Port, then boats take you across. Expect glamping tents, generator power only at night and zero mobile signal. Book a 4-day, 3-night accredited tour, bring cash, and go from December to May for calmer seas!
