Manjuyod Sandbar and Bais Dolphin Watching
About
Called the 'Maldives of the Philippines' by locals, this roughly 7 km white sandbar appears at low tide in the Tañon Strait, with stilted cottages standing in the shallow water. Boat tours from Bais start with dolphin watching (best roughly March to October), then let you wade, swim and picnic on the sand. Plan around the tide chart, since at high tide the sandbar disappears.
