Bahay Modernismo
About
Step into a 1950s Filipino home, and it is free! Bahay Modernismo is a heritage museum inside Quezon Memorial Circle that rebuilds a mid-century modern bungalow using items from an Aquino family house on Times Street. Walk from the garage and lanai to the living room, kitchen, bedrooms and a mancave, all dressed in bright retro colors, with old radios, TVs, toys and a vintage car. There is also a small gallery of Quezon City infrastructure models. It is a quick, photogenic stop that pairs well with a walk around the Circle and the new elevated promenade. Tip: go on a weekday morning, since it closes at 4 PM and is closed on Mondays.
