Bega Falls
About
A four-tier waterfall hiding deep in the forest of Agusan del Sur! Bega Falls tumbles down the Bega River in Barangay Mabuhay, and each tier has its own look, with the grandest drop waiting at the bottom. Register at the entrance, ride a few more minutes to the jump-off and take the 396 paved steps down to the pools. Local legend says a flirty diwata lives here, which is how the falls got its name from the Visayan word biga, to flirt. Come early, swim where it's calm and save your legs for the climb back up!
