About this spot
Benguet's favorite day hike, an eco-trail across pine forests and grassy ridges that ends at Mt. Ulap's summit and Gungal Rock, a dramatic rock ledge perfect for that 'standing on the edge' photo. The trail is around 8–10 km with traverse options, beginner-friendly but long, with constant views of the Cordillera. Hikers start early from Ampucao to catch the cool air and avoid afternoon fog.
