About this spot

A small community where Yakan weavers, originally from Basilan, work on backstrap looms creating intricate, brightly colored geometric textiles. Watch the weaving up close, learn about the patterns, and buy directly from the makers, from table runners to bags and malong. It's an authentic, meaningful pasalubong stop that supports indigenous craft. Pieces take days or weeks to weave, so buying here directly supports the weavers' families.
