About this spot

One of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, founded by Jesuits in the 1590s and built from coral stone. Heavily damaged in the 2013 Bohol earthquake, it has been carefully restored, and its museum keeps centuries-old religious art and vestments. It's a short ride from Tagbilaran and a staple first stop on countryside tours for history lovers.
