About this spot

A protected park of limestone caves, a natural stone bridge and jungle-lined rivers, first declared a national park in 1935. Trips usually start with a boat ride up the Golden River from Basey, then explore caves like Panhulugan with guides, and may add kayaking or paddling under the natural bridge. Raw, adventurous and far less touristy than Visayas beach spots. Best arranged through the Basey tourism office.
