About this spot

A community-run sea turtle sanctuary on Nagbalayong beach in Morong, where former egg poachers now patrol the shore to protect nesting olive ridley turtles. Visitors learn about conservation, see the hatchery and, in season, join a dusk release of baby turtles into the sea, a memorable moment for kids and adults. It is simple and low-key, but meaningful, and easy to pair with a Subic or Las Casas trip.
