About this spot
Since 1949, Rodic's has been the UP tapsilog spot. The tapa here is shredded, almost corned-beef soft, so it mixes perfectly with garlic rice, egg, and a splash of vinegar. The original UP Shopping Center stall burned down in 2018, and the diner now sits at Epsilon Chi Center beside Bahay ng Alumni, still self-service with plenty of UP memorabilia. Tapsilog is around ₱140, so it's an easy almusal before a campus walk, or a nostalgic stop kung alumni ka.
