About this spot
A viewpoint high on Mayon's northern slope inside the Mayon Volcano Natural Park, where the volcano looms right above you and the Albay Gulf spreads out below. The cool air, pine-lined road and up-close perspective feel very different from the classic Cagsawa view. Access depends on the volcano's alert level. Bring a jacket, since it is noticeably cooler up here than in Legazpi.
