About this spot
A placid highland lake about 1,000 meters above sea level, wrapped in forested hills and dotted with floating tilapia cages and lotus blooms. Take an early-morning boat ride when mist floats over the water, then eat fresh tilapia at a lakeside restaurant. The area is the ancestral home of the T'boli people, the 'T'nalak weavers', and is called the Summer Capital of Southern Mindanao for its cool air.
