About this spot

Luzon's highest peak at around 2,922 meters, famous for its sea of clouds at sunrise and mossy forests and grasslands that turn the summit into the 'Playground of the Gods.' The Ambangeg trail is the beginner-friendly route; you register at the DENR visitor center for a mandatory orientation, then trek from the ranger station, usually starting the summit push before dawn. Bring serious cold-weather gear; temperatures can drop near freezing.
