About this spot

Dumaguete's most famous pasalubong stop since 1977. The silvanas, frozen cashew-meringue cookies sandwiching buttercream, are the must-buy, along with the namesake sans rival cake. They also serve Filipino and Western meals in the café, and a bistro branch is nearby. Buy silvanas in a cooler bag if you're flying out. Lines are common, but they move.
