Kumain sa loob ng lumang airport tower? Pwede sa Blackbird! The restaurant fills the Art Deco Nielson Tower, built in 1937 as the terminal and control tower of Manila's first commercial airport, right inside Ayala Triangle. The old control room is now the upper dining floor, reached by a spiral staircase, and the terrace looks out on the garden. The menu mixes world classics with contemporary Asian cooking, and the MICHELIN Guide lists it in its Manila selection. It's a go-to for anniversaries, despedidas and business lunches. Best moment: dinner on the terrace as the Ayala Triangle lights come on, or a slow weekend brunch or afternoon tea.
Good to know

How are the places in this guide picked?
Only gala-worthy places make the list. Each one is scored on real evidence, like editorial lists, Philippine travel apps, Reddit threads, review volume and Michelin, plus how well it fits a day out. Plain eateries, chains and ordinary malls are left out, and the rest are ranked best first.

Yes. Save the places you like, then start a plan: pick a date, invite the barkada with one link, and split the budget in the app.
