Coron's signature stop and often called the cleanest lake in the Philippines. Climb around 150-plus steep steps from the boat dock and pause at the famous viewpoint over the cove for that postcard shot, then go down to a crystal-clear freshwater lake ringed by limestone cliffs. The water is so clear you can see the underwater rock formations while floating. Part of most Coron Island tours, owned and managed by the indigenous Tagbanua community.

Two lagoons separated by a thin limestone wall. Your boat parks in the first one, then you either climb a short wooden ladder over the rocks or, at low tide, swim through a gap under the wall into the second lagoon. The water shifts from turquoise to emerald, and you'll feel warm and cold layers where fresh and salt water mix. A highlight of the Coron Island tour, about 20 minutes by boat from town.
- 3
A brackish lake hidden behind limestone walls next to Kayangan, famous among divers for its underwater cliffs and the thermocline where the water suddenly turns hot as you go deeper. Even snorkelers love floating over the dramatic rock formations in glass-clear water. It takes a short climb over rocks from the dock. Usually included in the Coron 'ultimate' or 'super ultimate' tours.
- 4
The beach-heavy alternative to the lakes tour. The 'Island Escapade' trip usually covers Malcapuya's powdery white sand and clear water, Banana Island and Bulog Dos sandbar, about an hour or more by boat from Coron town. Less karst drama, more classic white-sand Palawan beach days. Great for groups who want to swim, snorkel and lounge.
- 5
Climb roughly 700 steps right from Coron town and you get a sweeping view of the town, Coron Bay and the islands, especially beautiful at sunset. There's a big cross and a view deck at the top. It's a free, easy way to fill an afternoon after island hopping, and many pair it with a soak at Maquinit Hot Spring afterwards.
- 6
Seven small islets just off Coron town, named 'Seven Sins' after a local legend. It's one of the most rewarding easy snorkel spots in Coron, with healthy coral gardens, schools of fish and sometimes turtles right below the surface. Most Coron Island tours include it, or you can visit on a short private boat trip. Expect currents, so stay near your guide.

One of the few saltwater hot springs around, with water around 38 degrees C in stone pools surrounded by mangroves. It's the perfect way to soothe tired legs after Mt. Tapyas or a long day of island hopping. Go in the evening when it's cooler and the place feels relaxed. Simple facilities, but a well-loved Coron ritual.
